Foundation Residents

These people are special, they're Pioneers of the 3D world becoming settler's in the World's largest OpenSource Simulator Community. With a population over 30,000 Users and growing every day it's an exciting place to be a part of.

So how do you become a Foundation Resident and what do you get?

A Foundation Resident is someone who owns a region in the mainland 'Alice'.

Foundation Residents are currently allowed to be the 'Region Holder' of up to 4 Openlife Mainland Regions on the Openlife Grid.

Your given a 'Region Blog' to post your information online about your experiences, events or anything else you would like to share with the communinty.

Recognition as a Pioneer, being a Foundation Resident of the mainland.

Mainland Region Basic Information

A Region is 256x256 Virtual Metres or 65,536m2.

A Region is part of the larger Mainland and terraforming is allowed ( +15m -15m).

You may provide portions of the land to other residents for use.

You are considered the 'Owner' of the region and receive the feature benefits of being a Virtual Land Region Holder.

You can express your freedom, build, be creative enjoy use the media settings available, create a home for yourself or project.

Notes

Activities Considered unlawful or illegal including harmful, abusive or 'griefing' to the community are not tolerated and may result in your account being suspended and/or cancelled without a refund. This includes Sexually Explicit and Explicit Violent content, public display and content development must be mindful of this environment supportive of up to only an M 15+ environment, and not exceed this.

Technical Notes:

Experiences may vary, the Openlife Grid is built on 0.6r3 Alpha level OpenSource code, being a foundation resident helps us to improve this code, it's performance & features.

Please be sure to read about the Openlife Grid (3DX) & RealXtend Integration Event, features & function behaviours may differ after this integration. (You also have an opportunity to participate in testing and provide valuable feedback in this area).

Standalone does not connect to the Openlifegrid at this time, all servers and resources are maintained by the openlifegrid.

A Region is created with server resources and software, The Openlifegrid Team will take care of all these things, including if your region breaks.

As a 'Region Holder' - you are responsible for activities and display within that region.

Whilst we maintain the highest level of attention and care, we cannot garuantee nor be responsible for any losses and/or loss of content, however regular backups are made in the event a disaster these can be recovered.
