Access to web services

Hi sorry for the newb question, but I am looking for a new 3D engine/world for our new project.

If we bought a foundation region, is it possible to have scripts which can communicate with a .NET web service?

We will have a web service which will record the results of a lab done by a student. So if the student completes a lab experiment correctly, the script will send a message to the web service with the status. Then the teacher would go to our web site (or a place in OpenLifeGrid) to see the results.

If no communications to 3rd party web sites are possible, what about a standard http web site?

Thanks in advanced for the help.

Re: Access to web services

Communication to an external site via script is possible at this time.

See example Bri Hasp's Visitor Logger Script which posts a visitor count to a web page.
