Hi! First post. Introduction to the group

Hi All!

Just wanted to drop a note to say Hi! I live on English Village in SL and just recently got the urge to try OpenSim. WOW! I've been a bit busy. I got the stand alone OpenSim to work on my Windows XP machine. Then I found a few other grids. I'm very interested in OpenLife. I just bought "Petrona" on the mainland and am looking forward to building on it.

My background is in web development, mainly in Japan under the name Worldnet Japan. I'm looking forward to being a link to the world for Japan. OpenLife is a great opportunity for me to realize this dream.

I look forward to working with you all.

Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Thank you,

Mike McKay

Welcome Professor,

As you express the wish to be a link to Japan, take a look at my blog openlifegrid.com/Main/Blogs/tabid/61/BlogID/14/Default.aspx here in OL, then tell me if you would be interested in hosting the building I was constructing. I'm continuing the construction of the building in my standalone, but can update an OL copy using Second Inventory.

Hi Pratyeka. It's very nice to meet you.

Hajimemas___e dozo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Wow! It's so beautiful. I'd love to host it.  My visitors will be Japanese or foreigners with an interest in Japan, mainly for education. This would make for a great landing area.

I'll be setting parcels today. The Northeast quarter quadrant of Petrona is where I was thinking of hosting it; somewhere around 213, 211, 59. Let me know what you think.
