Any musicians out there?

I just built an amphitheater looking for a concert or performance.

Anyone interested in trying some ambient music? I have a midi wind controller. I'm not sure how we would do it, but I wanna try. :)

I've just joined ejamming.com. Tonight I am going to try a jam session at 7:30 JST to see if it works. You're all free to join me. I'll do it next week also...search for kansai_mike (posted the event in ejamming jam session forum - Smooth Jazz and ambient).

Sakai, what do you think of incorporating something like this into Openlife?

Hello** I can sing (Contralto voice) and play the piano, though I'm a Baroque and Classical minded musician and only a 2nd year student at that. Plus, I'm very new to connecting instruments (my midi piano, my microphone) and go stream... But I'm right out there and willing. Voilà.

Hi there!

My Name's Kina Babii in SL and I am a singer

Have been DJing and singing in SL for over a year and have all the streaming stuff ready to go - except for a stream

I guess its just a case of buying a stream in SL and hooking up to land settings in Openlife?

I'm loving it here and saving like mad to buy my own sim.

I play guitar and sing music I write myself, but my most popular performances are in a karaoke style,

Singing with a backing track, and I have romantic, jazzy music or modern pop, my faves are sorta folky/rocky stuff,

like joni mitchell or Chrissy Hynde.

When you get you're region. Submit a support ticket asking for a shoutcast stream. And we'll provide you a complimentary stream for your region.

Hi Kina,

My name is Lecktor Hannibal here and there. I'm the Co-Owner of Radio Free Darkmere.

I'm also a Foundation Resident here and own the region Moire where I'm building the Roadhouse Ranch and Saloon. Would love to have you here for an event some time near future perhaps as a break in party for my saloon. Radio Free Darkmere is already streaming on my region and I would provide it to you for the event.

I am usually available to play from 1:30pm - 4:30pm PDT (I'm in GMT - uk hrs) but can play until 6:30pm PDT on fri and sat, OR I can do from about 1am which is very early morning for me and extremely late for you! Gah time zones suck, still we make it work

Would love to do a show for you Lecktor, in fact I saw you at one of the welcome areas a few days ago

It might be an idea that during my first performance in OL I have a msn or skype convo open with whoever is hosting - if I crash I can then make sure you can still hear me, no matter what.

Also if anyone needs to learn how to stream music of any sort, then send me a buzz, I have done a lot of work helping others to learn how to perform.

Only other thing is of course, getting the music instruments and animations etc to OL - anyone know how to make a Gibson LesPaul?

It's so great to hear interest in playing in-world. Let's keep bumping this thread every so often in order to get more interest.

K.Loon. Great, Lektor and I have spaces and instruments, unfortunately, I just started my semester at the university and won't have time to play until January. Keep in touch though. I hope you and Lektor can get something going. You are always free to use my auditorium in Petrona.
