Fixing this site w3c multi-browser compatible accessability  (Taiwan, Province of China)

I thought I should quickly make a post about some coming changes.

We're currently going through the site to make it w3c compliant.

Or simply put.

We're adding accessability tools (make text bigger smaller etc), and changing much of it to be multi-browser compatible.

(we heard you, it has been noted that elements of the site do ot display properly on different web browsers).

I'm expecting to see initial releases of the new site for the weekend, that should be more compliant. I we would love to hear your feedback regarding these new changes as they occur and possibily some new features you would like to see.

Please be browser specific when telling us an issue as you identify them. You can also let us know if there's something u really like here too!

Kind Regards,

Whoa - don't let the accessibility gurus hear you say that!  This is their argument: instead of adding the facility to change text size just make sure that the font is not a fixed size.  So long as the font is flexible (e.g. sized in ems not px) anyone who needs to make it bigger can do so using the browser's inbuilt tools.

Re: Fixing this site w3c multi-browser compatible accessability  (Canada)

I totally hate the new format of this site... I can't figure out how to make the text bigger and how to get rid of the "most popular thread list" or whatever that list on the left side is.. it takes space for nothing and makes all text so small I have to get my microscope out to read anything... it sucks.. I want the old format back... what was wrong with it? why can't we have the choice?

Just a quick note some things are removable from view. if you see the '-' on the right hand side of their top bar they can be retracted from view.

Noted, but it still leaves a big empty space, so it's useless to colapse it. I want it gone and the space used to display the post.
